TITAN COMICS

Richard Dinnick and Jessica Martin create a new story for Titan Comics about Mags the Werewolf from my Who story The Greatest Show in the Galaxy. Mags lives!

WORKSHOPS

Just started a series of workshops at Royal Central School with the talented team of Jane Gibson, Sue Lefton and Paddy Cunneen for a planned theatre project on a Zola novel We're working with the students on the Movement Director course who are a delight to work with. Early days for the project but we're already making some great discoveries about the staging of the piece.

MAGS LIVES!

Thanks largely to my chum, Jessica Martin, who played Mags the Werewolf in Greatest Show in the Galaxy, two Mags-related projects are currently in production. Big Finish are working on three stories about Mags, the first scripted by the highly experienced Matt Fitton. And Titan Comics are planning a Mags related story written by Richard Dinnick and illustrated by Jessica as a supplement to an edition edited by Andrew Cartmel devoted to the Seventh Doctor. GALLIFREY ONE

I had a great time at Gallifrey One and was delighted to learn that my two Who stories are remembered and treasured. Here's a photo of me with seven fans as the Red and Blue Kangs from Paradise Towers. They were great fun!

ROYAL LITERARY FUND

Very pleased to accept an offer from the Royal Literary Fund to return as one of their Writing Fellows to the University of Greenwich beginning in September.

GALLIFREY ONE

Just received the full programme for Gallifrey One in Los Angeles 16th to 18th February. Delighted that there's going to be a whole session devoted to The Greatest Show in the Galaxy with an impressive number of the original creative team taking part.

STANDARD BEARER IN HASTINGS

Neil on top form at the second performance of The Standard Bearer in Hastings. Delighted to realise that a piece that I wrote more than a decade ago still retains its relevance and (in Neil's performance) emotional power. The Kinoteatr is a lovely venue with (let it be said) an excellent cafe/restaurant attached.
