A lovely message from experienced radio producer Sara Davies on Linked In which means a lot to me:

Stephen, this was a fantastic piece of radio drama, and made me weep. My father was one of the members of the British Army who had to say goodbye to Russians he had befriended - he wasn't an officer, and he never spoke much about it, but from what little he said it was clearly a deeply traumatic time and a burden he carried throughout his life. Many congratulations to everyone involved in the production.
