JULIAN SANDS

Julian has been often in my thoughts during the last few months. I hope that the discovery of his body will bring some closure for his family and close friends.

Julian sponsored and directed performances in London, Los Angeles and Europe of my monologue The Standard Bearer delivered brilliantly by Neil Dickson. Julian did this out out of pure generosity because he wanted to support both Neil and my writing. I will always remember his kindness, patience and mischievous humour. Working with him was one of the privileges of my life as a writer.
